Synergy Flavours has drawn on its 140-year beverage expertise to develop our new range of alcohol flavours for alcoholic beverages and the low and no market.
The Whiskey Range
Our portfolio enables manufacturers to layer the whiskey flavours alongside other Synergy solutions include Inspiring Fruits and our citrus range to deliver bar-quality cocktails.
The chemistry of whiskey is complex and includes many different flavours and aromas. Important aroma compounds in whiskey are derived from the type of grain used, the fermentation and distillation processes, as well as the barrels used during ageing. Our expert flavour team have used our analytical insights to guide their flavour creation.
The Gin Range
The signature notes of our gin flavour collection from pine and citrus through to spice and cucumber can help you create the perfect gin cocktails.
Using the findings from our analytical team, our expert flavourists have developed a range of gin flavours in line with the different aroma compounds identified in our analysis. As part of the collection, a complete Negroni flavour has been crafted. Alongside the range, the flavour team have developed a Creme de Mure flavour inspired by the 1980s gin bramble.
The Tequila Range
With tequila trending across Europe, our tequila flavours can be used to help you develop bar-quality tequila cocktails from the paloma through to the tequila sunrise.
The chemistry of tequila is complex due to the nature in which it’s processed. The production and maturation (ageing) stages, create different compounds that contribute to the flavour variation found in tequila. Our flavourists used analytical data to develop a range of tequila and cocktail flavours. The collection includes two tequila flavours, a Margarita flavour and a triple sec flavour.
