Our flavour creation and application capabilities span the globe – with manufacturing and technical support facilities in the Ireland, the UK, the US, Brazil and Thailand. We have the global footprint and market understanding to work collaboratively with customers worldwide to develop flavour solutions which respond to and anticipate the expectations of local consumers.
Headquartered in High Wycombe, UK we have additional European sites located in Corby and Northampton, UK and Ballineen, Ireland. Our European facilities offer manufacturers a full range of savoury, sweet and dairy solutions, supported by extensive application and flavour creation labs. Our experienced marketing team is also on hand to deliver on-trend marketing insights across all categories – ensuring that manufacturers confidently meet the latest consumer demand.
Our broad, fully resourced innovation team is supported by significant and continuous investment in our technologies and processes. At our High Wycombe headquarters, for example, we have enhanced our science platform with a new sensory facility. In addition to a new purpose-built laboratory, the state-of-the-art capabilities also include software which allows for sensory analysis through mobile devices. This enables the direct capture of sensory insights wherever we are – whether in a restaurant or working remotely with customers.
Synergy Flavours’ new 145,000 sq. foot US headquarters features an innovation centre with flavour and application development labs, along with a demonstration kitchen, sensory testing labs, and analytical and pilot plant facilities. The space has been custom-designed to foster collaboration and creativity between our flavourists and application specialists with our customers and was designed to meet LEED standards.
Manufacturing capabilities include dry blending, spray drying, liquid extractions and emulsions production.
Our dedicated site in Hamilton, Ohio produces Synergy Pure™ coffee, tea and botanical extracts and essences. Tomato and herb essences are produced in Los Banos, California. All essences and extracts made at these facilities are created using a unique Single-Pass Extraction (SPE) System, a revolutionary way to produce premium essences and concentrates from tea, coffee, fruit, vegetables and a variety of botanicals with minimum flavour loss. Our vanilla flavouring and extracts, meanwhile, are produced using proprietary extraction techniques at our dedicated site in Rochester, New York.
Opened in 2013, Synergy Thailand is our latest investment and allows us to provide enhanced production and technical support to the exciting and vibrant South East Asian market.
The site provides a wide variety of ingredients and support services to manufacturers, offering blended powder and liquid flavour production facilities, in addition to sweet and savoury flavour creation and application laboratories. It also offers a full range of technical, warehousing and customer support services.
In 2012, we established a new facility in São Paulo. The facility expands our flavour development and production capabilities in the Americas and enables us to better serve customers targeting the fast-growing Brazilian market.
Our Brazilian capabilities include flavour creation, application labs and manufacturing facilities, catering to local needs in the beverage, dairy, confectionery, bakery and nutrition sectors.
